Generous much?
Just read from Mashables Facebook is targeting small businesses, seducing small businesses to jump on the bandwagon of Facebook marketing! The new marketing tool of 'Facebook Marketing Solution' is giving away $10 Million in Free Advertising! It is also mentioned that by the year 2012, Facebook will be giving out $50 for each qualified businesses and in the same time providing guidance and information on how you can easily advertise and market through Facebook!
Very generous of them to do create such a program! What do you think? Will it Work? Will they survive? Will small businesses be able to gain benefits from this?

Its desperation, but this could be something that could help FB. They will however need to be careful to not be too generous, too many ads will make the page cluttered and everyone will move to G+ (as you and I have! Keep up the good G+ work!).

@rosssouwe :D Thanx for your comment! Yes you made a good point, on they can't be too generous, in giving the amount of ads, users will just become immune to it, and eventually it won't work! G+ :D still need some work and time :D but im sure its a Big Big War!
ReplyDeleteDo we pay attention to the ads at the moment? I would prefer to see Facebook encouraging business to invest time and effort into creating value-adding content on pages, rather than cluttering our pages with more ads. But I guess even Mark Zuckerberg has bills to pay! :)
