Talking about measuring, Facebook seems to have added a new feature to Facebook Pages! I can't say its a "FEATURE" but it is quiet interesting. I was looking through my online store page, and saw this..."43 are talking about this"...is this a new analytic tool for marketers to look at? I have no idea what it is yet, but it seems like an indicator indicating the number of people talking about your page!
I couldn't click into it...but want to find out more! What do you think it might me?

I've noticed that feature too. I though it was just about people mentioning the brand in a wall post but it's a lot more. Soon there's gonna be a lot more accurate tools to target people on Facebook. Check out this article, it'll explain the 'are talking about this' in more detail

Intesresting Roni, Thanx for providing the link :D Yes I have noticed the use of it as well as it was kinda explained on the Facebook page when I log into my page account :) This is quiet interesting where Facebook is developing a better platform for marketers! I guess, SOON! we will see F-Commerce! :D

F-Commerce, sounds like a subject for next year.. There might also be a T-Commerce but it definitely seems like Facebook is getting a very strong database for marketers to utilise.. I can't wait to see what will happen soon with the ads on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteMaybe ef-commerce? It's interesting, in Services marketing (and theatre) we talk of 'on stage' and 'back of house', I think the back of house measuring and monitoring capacity of fb and google etc must be truly enormous!
